(WAN) INTERNET CONNECTION
I have an Internet connection permanently built into the Motor Home using WiFi technology. I have built a ground plane roof antenna for the 2.4ghz 802.11b modems and I am using quad shielded 75 Ohm coax cable to the roof antennas. I have a great Internet connection whenever I park near a public WiFi ISP offering WiFi connection.

Make sure that the WiFi modem and your Router WAN port is on the same subnet! The following is a description of some key settings that may be of some help.

Network

With the above example I have my Router WAN connection pointed to my WiFi client on the 192.168.0.x subnet and behind my Router for my LAN connection I have my own subnet with DHCP or static IP addresses where I have any number of computers plugged into the LAN side of the router to share one fast Internet connection.
